  • Overview

    Manage implementation of cutting-edge technologies that help create smarter homes through the use of mobile apps that allow customers to remotely secure and interact with their homes from their smartphones, tablets, and PCs from anywhere in the world. Ability to walk homeowners and New Home Consultants through the use of home automation, such as the ability to watch live video from your smartphone or lock/unlock a deadbolt door from wherever you are. This position will be responsible for the rollout of home automation products with unique security features in addition to the standard home automation technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage projects using defined project management tools and communication vehicles
    • Facilitate enhancements to communications, tools, capabilities and product lines
    • Manages all smart home technology KPI’s for assigned divisions (CSAT, Cycle Times, Quality)
    • Manage smart home technology processes and procedures
    • Evaluate assigned account’s business processes and provide recommendations for automation and enhancements that generate additional revenue
    • Create program to train and evaluate technicians
    • Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts. Manage ongoing conference calls and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts
    • Provide regular status reports and manage task lists on assigned accounts progress for all project areas
    • Create PPT presentations
    • Produce Reports as requested
    • Handles elevated issues from divisions

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent and five to seven years of proven success in high-tech account management
    • Two to five years of experience as an account manager, product manager or project leader in an online commerce or supply chain venue
    • Two to five years in a sales or sales support role in online commerce
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
    • Valid, unrestricted Motor Vehicle License and clean driving record

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Requires the ability to work in the office and in the field, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally operate construction equipment.  Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. May be required to go work in confined spaces such as attics and closets.
