  • Overview

    Summary of Position:

    The Marketing Research Analyst will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to collect and analyze data to evaluate existing and potential markets.  This person is responsible to identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales.  Using the data obtained, this person will formulate the basis of the division and communities marketing plan, which aims to focus its resources on improving the sales and gaining advantage over the competitors.


    • Intimately know the market and players in the city
    • Assist the DOS in the acquisition feasibility study
    • Perform strategic marketing research – competitive analysis for target communities which includes price graph comparisons, MLS data research, school district analysis and property ownership research
    • Create new opportunities to promote the division’s communities, as well as fine-tune and improve existing marketing campaigns
    • Identify trends across marketing channels and develop action points
    • Create, report and manage online marketing KPIs
    • Assist with creation of other division marketing assets, as needed
    • Assisting with various other marketing related duties as needed
    • Assist in preparation of marketing budget for new developments
    • Assist in invoice coding related to marketing
    • Assists with input regarding advertising, and promotional needs.
    • Assists in the development of standard features and amenities of new product development.
    • View and evaluate competitive communities on a regular basis.
    • Function as an active member of the daily operations of a busy Marketing Department with full participation in department events and activities and work product
    • Model Maintenance responsibility
    • May be required to cross-train within the division
    • All other duties as assigned


    • Homebuilding experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • High degree of attention to detail
    • General understanding of new home market place and marketing procedures
    • Experience in Competitive Market Analysis
    • Advanced computer skills (Powerpoint and Excel – graphs, charts, text, graphics)
