  • Overview

    Coordination of settlement process to ensure closing projections are met and exceeded by resolving issues daily.


    • Schedule settlement date and times with Closing Attorneys
    • Audit new sales agreement, manage contract documents, and maintain job files
    • Oversee settlement closing questions & issues via email, quick response time required
    • Lennar Daily - Settlements & Projections
    • Monthly Settlement Backlog Projections
    • Update Mortgage Status with Eagle Home Mortgage and contact with outside lenders
    • Update JDE with mortgage status and COE dates and times
    • Update COE dates for current sales in JDE
    • Review and notarize Seller documents for settlements
    • Update and maintain closing calendar
    • Create reports in JDE for weekly distribution to NHCs, Eagle Home Mortgage, North American Title, Production & Senior Management - Closing & NHO Calendars, Mortgage Status Reports and Tentative Closing Reports
    • Settlement Notification Letters to Buyers & NHC’s
    • Print and notarize Deeds for closing
    • HUD Approval
    • Oversee and ensure accuracy in closing documentation


    • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience reviewing settlement statements for residential transactions
    • One year in the Home Building Industry with knowledge of the contract-to-close process strongly preferred
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • D. Edwards computer experience preferred
    • Required Notary Public or ability to become a Notary Public within 3 months of employment
    • Excellent organization skills with proven ability to effectively manage large volume of files with simultaneous deadlines
    • Top-Notch customer service skills
    • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Possess strong work ethic, integrity, loyalty and professionalism and the ability to work well with teammate and other co-workers
    • Team player with a can-do attitude and a take-the-initiative approach to get things done
    • Ability to be flexible in daily workflow processes, deadlines and closing schedules while maintaining a high level of customer service to our internal and external customers
